I was looking for a candy bar mold, but didn't want anything fancy; just something to satisfy my cravings for the customized chocolate.When the item arrived, from the 1st look at it, I thought it was too flimsy, but when I actually picked it up and examined it, the mold was very sturdy and the chocolate pops out of the mold with no problem at all. I've already made 3 bars of chocolate, and very happy with this purchase.

I ordered two of these molds to make giant crunch bars for a friend's daughter. I read many reviews of different types of molds and was surprised that many of the silicone molds did not receive high reviews, so when I stumbled upon these I decided to take a chance. These molds are actually quite sturdy - more than I thought they would be. They are also very affordable, whish was a big plus for me. I made two candy bars the day they arrived. After pouring the chocolate into the molds (wash them before you use them of course!) I simply popped them into the freezer for 20-25 minutes and when i removed them, I inverted them onto a clean tea towel and the candy came out perfectly! No muss, no fuss! Doe about $3 each I made two nearly half-pound treats that my friend's daughter loved! Couldn't be happier. As a side note, the fact that these are clear makes it very easy to see any air bubbles that may be trapped in the mold by lifting the mold and viewing it from underneath. I used a very small plastic artists palette knife to knock out the bubbles and the bars were flawless.
