this worked great with wilton candy melts. i bought several ocean-themed molds (shells, sea creatures) for a "little mermaid" birthday party. the candy came out easily without any greasing, just a sharp rap on the counter, and there were no bubbles or imperfections. however, my husband proved that this is NOT dishwasher safe, which must mean it is not safe for hard candy either (experienced candy makers already know this, i'm sure).

I found this mold harder to use than some. I liked the range of size of small fish, but they were so shallow that they didn't always come out well.
