This is a much loved and used item; we have crafted dozens of bars of fragrant soaps from this mold, it forms beautifully, with excellent detail. This could also be used for candy making, too, however, we caution, do not use one mold for multi-purposes, not wise when it comes to food saftey. We have ordered a variety of molds from this vendor, and have found that they work well with several types of crafting - candy making, soap making, and pouring beeswax, too. However, we do not intermix any of the molds ... we always use a mold for just one kind of crafting ... so, if you are like us, multi-crafting/creating, (since these are inexpensive), get more than one, and mark on the molds what you are using them for. It's well worth it! Some helpful tips for working with this item: we rub a bit of olive oil into the cavities before pouring soap and we allow it to fully form/harden before releasing. Good idea to pour into all cavities to help bars set evenly, but we haven't had any problems pouring just one or two at a time. Do not try to force the bars out before they set, you will end up bending the mold and it won't work as well for future use. We are very happy with this product, and recommend it highly. Good shopping/shipping experience through Amazon and this vendor.
