This elephant mold can be used to make a standing 3-D elephant or 2 1/2 elephants to be used facing each other on top of a cake. They were a big hit with my friends. Many people thought they were so perfect that they were wooden sculptures, not candy!

I know the grammar in the title is bad, but that is truly how much this mold is loved. I made a chocolate mold for a local sorority and I have not received the mold back yet they loved it so much. Maybe I'll charge them double next time- LOL

I got these to make a custom order of soaps for a friend's mother's birthday a year or so ago. They work really well for the melt and pour recipe I used. Only thing I will suggest for anyone wanting to add this to their soap mold collection, the head part of the elephant is more shallow than the butt part (as one can imagine), so in order to get a good, even soap hardening/setting, you'll have to put something under the head part, to keep it as level as you can. I think I used a pack of travel-sized Kleenexes.Other than that, everything came out just as described, my friend's mom was super happy to get elephant soaps, and I was happy to make a friend happy.
