I bought this mold to make homemade chocolates as gifts. The chocolates came out looking professionally done. The mold releases so well and each heart is a pretty good size and thickness. I highly recommend this item. I hand-washed it the first time, but it's easy to miss stuff in the corners, so next time I put it on the top rack of dishwasher and it came out clean as a whistle.
