I was really hoping the molds were a little deeper. I wanted to do a mint layer with chocolate backing for my daughter's butterfly birthday party, but the molds just weren't deep enough for both layers. It still worked out nicely with just chocolate though. For plastic, they're pretty sturdy and definitely a good size.

I purchased this for my mother who is a professional baker, part-time. She is making candies for my sister-in-law's baby shower. I have no clue what the price standard/average is supposed to be for candy molds. So far they have produced good pieces of chocolate and have no problems as of yet being in the freezer. **Important** It says do NOT use in the dishwasher.I agree, as they can get very hot. I'm not sure what kind of plastic it is, but if it gets hot enough it can warp, therefore ruining the mold.They are quite easy to use.

Well I gave this four stars not five, but that doesn't mean that I have any problems with the product. I mean it does what it's designed to do, it makes molds of butterflies. My fiancee and I are using this for our wedding, we are making little chocolate butterflies for our reception and this has worked great for us. We have had no real issues with it (besides eating the chocolate instead of saving it all for the wedding).
